I found an abstract oil painting dating from 1947, painted by Louis Bassi Siegriest. I liked the composition, found oddly soothing. The artist signed the back of the painting. It was a piece of my price range, but bought it anyway.
Trade Winds is the name of an abstract painting I bought from the artist Joanne Riddle when I was in Connecticut. The room was huge and had been sent by freight to my home. The blue in the painting was so vivid. The whole composition was absolutely inspired.
I bought an abstract painting for my sister-in-law last year. The artist of the piece was Leonardo Nierman and the environment, was used oils. I bought the piece unframed and took my sister-in-law of the coach to select the frame.
I tried to buy an abstract painting from the mayor of our city. He offered two thousand dollars for the modernist abstract colorful figure. The artist used red, white and blue and I get this for my stepmother. This would have loved, but the mayor did not want to sell it.
My mother has decorated her house in a style she liked in Santa Fe bought a large abstract painting of his favorite artist, Lou Monti. He saw the work of a number of homes and always raves about them. He was so happy when she saw the painting I bought for hanging on the wall of the lounge.
I have a guy who was once signed abstract painting of Robert Gilberg on his wall. I saw something different every time I saw him. This painting had an attraction that I can not explain everything. He was always buying art and the evolution of abstract paintings on walls, but this song is always stuck. I guess I was attracted to the well.
Abstract painting I bought for my older brother worked in the apartment. I ended up buying a painting that was a little too big for the room was. The colors do not work with the only room that worked for its size.
I ended up selling that abstract painting the same position that I bought on eBay! I ended up profit from abstract painting. There is more information in my auction for the artist, Richard Diebenkorn, than there was in the auction I won. I think the extra hours of research, I increased the value of abstract painting.
I learned long ago that an abstract painting is worth exactly as much as someone is willing to pay for it. I have friends who can not be convinced of this fundamental truth. I think if no one wants an abstract painting in particular, it is useless.
My brother used the money from the sale of the unwanted abstract painting to find another abstract painting. He finished with an abstract collage that was the end of 1930. I liked when I saw it and it worked beautifully in his office.
